1. Print the fingerprint card. It’s the standard FBI FD-258 form, but we’ve added markers in the corners so our software can automatically align your scans. Make sure your printer does not cut out the dotted lines. Download it here

2. Find some ink. You can use fingerprint ink pads or plain black stamp ink available at stores like Staples, Michaels, etc. Here is a link to a fingerprint ink pad on Amazon

3. Fill bottom row of FD-258 Use the bottom row of the FD-258 card for the "slap" fingerprints:

• Left 4 fingers
• Right 4 fingers
• Left thumb
• Right thumb

Press your fingers gently but firmly on the ink pad and then on the designated areas on the card. Check that the prints are clear & capture the entire fingerprint pattern.
